the HDV format and can output over firewire directly to
HDV or DV in ether 4X3 or 16X9. When edited on our Adobe

50mbs the results are outstanding.
The FX1 is now augmented by the perfect "companion
camera" the 1.7lb Sony HDR-HC1. Both cameras record
in the high definition HDV format or DV/DVCAM and are
supported with Sony tripods, Sennheizer microphones and
Century Optics converter lenses. In addition , we have
added Sony PD 180 DVCAM format along with teleprompter
for high quality on screen delivery of your message.

Services
Digital Video Acquisition
We take creative advantage of the new DV format cameras.
Much like the era when press photographers switched from
the big 4X5 cameras to 35mm, greater speed and mobility
captures better pictures. The new smaller digital format
cameras deliver picture quality far beyond what
conventional televisions can reproduce.
The production process is streamlined:
Less equipment and crew = less disruption. Working faster
with fewer crew = cost savings.
The streamlined process means a relaxed shooting
environment, a natural response from participants and the
best possible product for your budget.
sometimes less = more!

videotape and show brilliant, crisp video on low cost DVD
players. We will author your DVDs with complex menus and
create DVD-R duplications or help you arrange replication
of large qualities of replicated disks.
Video Streaming
We use the very latest cutting edge technology to process,
format, encode and publish some of the highest quality
streaming media in the major formats - Flash, QuickTime®,
RealSystem®, Windows Media, MP3, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 at a

Equipment
Our primary cameras are the Sony HDR-FX1 and HDR-HC1. They
are the first professional hand held high definition
cameras. These highly mobile systems can record
great sound and stunningly beautiful images. They
record in the HDV format and can output over firewire
directly to HDV or DV in ether 4X3 or 16X9. They can also
record in the DV and DVCAM formats.
The use of high quality fluid head tripods gives a solid
quality to the video not normally associated with these
small cameras. A favorite ATS shooting technique involves
the use of a monopod which provides the mobility of a hand
held camera and the stability of a tripod. Fluid moving
camera shots are instantly available as well as unique
elevated shots with the camera fifteen feet above the
subject.
Lighting is facilitated with an array of Lowel instruments
including Rifa-lite soft lights plus some cool running
lights like the Westcott Spiderlite. We also have some
unique battery powered lights to keep up with our highly
mobile shooting style. Both AC and DC lights are equipped
with gels and dimmers to match any ambient light
situation.
